Winds are expected to be strongest along the coast, but gusts as high as 55 mph are expected to persist inland up to Bethel. Strongest winds are expected late Sunday night, and winds will begin to diminish through Monday morning. However, steady southwesterly flow is expected to continue into midweek.

Relatively, the area to see higher water levels is expected to be Kipnuk. The most likely scenario is for water levels to be 2.0 to 3.0 ft above the normal high tide line. Kwigillingok may see water levels of 1.0 to 2.0 ft above the normal highest tide line. The peak will be around midnight Monday morning, coinciding with high tide. Following this system, steady southwesterly flow is expected to continue for the Kuskokwim Delta coastline through Tuesday, which may slow the ability for flood waters to recede.
